		A Hand of Hope for Those in Need

			Jamuna
	Jamuma weighed 1.2 kg. at birth. She is now 1 1/2 months old and doing well. Jan 2010—Now a big healthy baby. See photo on right. (She has since been adopted.)

			Sujita
	Looking at beautiful Sujita, now 7 months old, it's hard tobelieve she weighed only 1kg. (2.2 lbs) when she arrived at the Mercy Home. (She is now a part of the Little Darlings toddler group. She has a lazy eye so no one as yet wants to adopt her. We will look into the possibilities of an operation for it.


			Stefina
	Lovely Stefina above weighed 2 kg. (4.4lbs) when she arrived. She's now a healthy 6 month old baby. Now adopted!

			Susmita
	Susmita is another baby who weighed only 2kg. (4.4lbs.) at birth. This is the average birth weight in the area, which is why we have started a maternal health care program. Jan 2010—Now adopted!
